GEO in Spanish: choose the market before choosing the wording
Spanish is shared across markets with different vocabulary and commercial conditions. A page for customers in Spain is not automatically suitable for Mexico or Spanish-speaking customers in the United States. Decide whom the page serves before editing the language.
Consider an online course. A customer needs to know whether lessons are live or recorded, the time zone, payment currency and the language of feedback. These differences matter more than simply changing ordenador to computadora, though familiar vocabulary can also make the text easier to read.
Adapt prices, support and other buying conditions
Check prices, availability, payment methods and support hours against the actual offer. Use terms your customers recognise and maintain a consistent voice. Avoid forcing regional slang into professional copy or creating a separate country page when nothing meaningful changes.
Translate the whole enrolment or enquiry path, including form errors, emails and linked conditions. If some teaching or support is in another language, make that clear before the customer commits.
Connect equivalent pages and compare the right questions
Use separate URLs for versions you maintain and ask your developer to check the language and region annotations. Switching language should keep the reader on the same course or service. Keep shared facts consistent and record which terms differ by market.
Test questions used by customers in the target country. Save the language, location, AI service, date and answer. Spanish answers may cite sources in other languages, so check whether the information applies to the customer rather than judging the source by language alone. Correct missing or misleading terms, and track citations separately from registrations and enquiries.
