This Privacy Policy explains how geo-rank.ai (“we”) processes the personal data of visitors to geo-rank.ai. If you have questions about your personal data, email hello@geo-rank.ai.

1. Data we process

Server log data

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data: IP address, browser type and version (user-agent), the requested URL and the date and time of the request. This data is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Contact data

If you email us at hello@geo-rank.ai, we process your email address and the content of your message solely to reply to you.

2. Analytics and cookies

Always active: Vercel Web Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics is always active. It collects first-party site visit statistics without cookies or cross-site tracking. It does not require a cookie banner.

Optional: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

The Google tag (gtag.js) is included in the page source. Cookies such as _ga are stored only after you consent (Google Consent Mode keeps analytics_storage denied until then). Microsoft Clarity loads only after you consent. You can decline and still use the site normally.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and ePrivacy). You can change your preferences or withdraw consent at any time using the button below or Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

Server log data and cookieless Vercel Web Analytics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating the site securely and understanding aggregate traffic. Email correspondence is processed based on your consent and to take steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity run only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Recipients and processors

Data may be accessed by our hosting and analytics provider, Vercel (site delivery, log processing and aggregate Vercel Web Analytics) and our email provider (Proton, pm.me) for correspondence. If you accept optional analytics, Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) also process the data those tools collect. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

5. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside your country, appropriate safeguards apply (e.g., the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Google and Microsoft may process analytics data in the United States.

6. Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate the site securely, then deleted or anonymized. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity retain data according to their own settings until you withdraw consent or the applicable retention period expires.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, ask us to restrict its processing, object to processing or request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, write to hello@geo-rank.ai.

8. Visitors from Russia (152-FZ)

For users in the Russian Federation, the operator is geo-rank.ai (hello@geo-rank.ai). We process the email address and message you send us, and technical log data (IP address, browser information), to respond to your request and operate the site securely. By emailing us, you consent to the processing of the personal data you provide; consent can be withdrawn by writing to hello@geo-rank.ai. If you consent to analytics through the banner, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity also process usage data (including cookies and, for Clarity, session recordings); that consent can be withdrawn via Cookie settings. No data is shared with third parties for advertising.

We may update this Policy. The date above reflects the latest version.
