GEO for Switzerland: explain services and support in each language
Before translating a Swiss business website, list where you work and which languages your team can support. Delivery to Zurich, for example, does not necessarily mean the same installation service is available in Lausanne or Lugano. The site should explain those differences.
List the conditions for each service and region
For each service, record the area covered, consultation language, delivery or travel conditions, currency and support hours. Use that information to decide which versions to publish. Do not imply that French-language sales support means a French-speaking technician will attend every appointment.
Answer the questions customers in that region need to settle before ordering. Keep common conditions consistent, and explain any regional differences on the relevant pages. Separate pages are useful when the offer changes; simply replacing a place name or adding a dialect version gives readers little new information.
Make switching languages useful
A language switch from a service page should open the equivalent service, not send the reader to the homepage. Use stable URLs and the appropriate hreflang annotations for the versions you actually maintain. Check forms and confirmation messages as carefully as the main text.
Test customer questions in German, French and Italian where relevant to your business. Record the location and service so you do not accidentally compare different offers. Check prices, coverage and support details, recording citations separately from factual accuracy. An answer in one language may use a source in another.
