GEO for Germany: make service terms clear in German

A German service page should explain the work precisely. For an office-equipment business, that includes distinguishing Wartung, routine maintenance, from Reparatur, repair. Someone choosing a maintenance contract needs different details from someone booking a broken printer for repair.

Describe the actual job

State the equipment you handle, the area you cover, how appointments work and what affects the price. Explain whether call-outs, spare parts and follow-up visits are included. Avoid an exact response-time promise unless your team can meet it under stated conditions.

Have a competent German editor read the text for natural phrasing and consistent terminology. Check umlauts and ß in headings, forms and copied text. These are basic publishing checks, not a special method for influencing AI systems.

Make company details easy to find and verify

Check the business name, contacts and company information, including the Impressum where applicable. The Impressum is the page identifying the organization behind the site. Review its accuracy, while keeping legal compliance checks separate from this editorial task. A registration or tax number should not be presented as a shortcut to higher rankings.

Give the German version its own URL and link it to equivalent pages. Test questions about the work you offer, such as supported equipment, maintenance coverage and appointments. Save the answers and sources, then investigate any incorrect terms. Clear, accessible content helps customers understand the service, but does not guarantee that AI will cite it.
